TERI

Studio Owner and Certified Pilates Instructor

Teri is a PSC (Pilates Sports Center) Certified Pilates Instructor and RRCA (Road Runner's Club of America) Certified Running Coach. She is a former high school and college athlete and long-distance runner, participating in races ranging from 5ks to a full marathon. She started taking Pilates classes as a supplemental workout to running to help with stretching and strengthening her body. After realizing the benefits and versatility of Pilates workouts, she decided to dedicate herself to introducing and helping others through Pilates instruction. As a breast cancer survivor, Teri utilized her knowledge of The Pilates Method to aid in her recovery. Teri has experience instructing children, athletes, and adults of all ages, including those with physical limitations, prior injuries or surgeries, and specific goals. She has taught those with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome / Hypermobility, frozen shoulder, sciatica, spinal issues including scoliosis, pregnancy, and much more. Her goal for each session is for clients to leave each session feeling better and more energetic than when they arrived.

HEATHER

Certified Pilates Instructor

Heather has been a resident of Arizona for over 35 years and began her Pilates journey in 2012, after a third knee injury. As a mother, fitness junkie and Pilates addict, Heather found that Pilates helped strengthen, elongate her muscles and has improved her stability and balance. In 2019 she received her TRX certification and continues her fitness journey and knowledge with starting her studies of Pilates in 2020. Heather always gets stuff done and is excited to pass her love of fitness to others. Her goal is a strengthening program to help people align, move with confidence and bring the body back to balance.

REGINA

Certified Pilates Instructor

Born and raised in AZ, Regina started her Pilates journey in 2010 and fell in love with the method. She has used Pilates to help cross train for half marathons, and recover from injuries. She became certified through Balanced Body in 2024, and loves teaching. She has worked with golfers and aerialists, as well as people recovering from injuries and those just wanting a fun workout. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and cats, traveling the world, and trying new experiences.

MICHELLE

Certified Pilates Instructor

Michelle became a certified Pilates instructor in 2020 and a yoga instructor in 2015. She is currently working as a physical therapist assistant and uses the Pilates method with her patients on a regular basis. She cannot wait to get you moving and feeling the burn as she is a true believer that "movement is medicine."

JADE

Certified Pilates Instructor

Jade is from Glendale, AZ with her love of movement starting as a gymnast, which then  grew into her passion for Pilates. She began practicing in 2021, to then become a certified instructor and personal trainer. She creates classes that are fun, challenging, and tailored to each student’s goals. In her free time, Jade enjoys trying new recipes, staying up on the latest wellness research, and spending time with her boyfriend and family.

AMBER

Certified Pilates Instructor

Amber, originally from Ohio, found her passion for movement and Pilates through an introduction from her ice skating coach. Pilates was used as a supplemental movement to increase her skating ability. After relocating to Arizona two years ago, she immersed herself and pursued formal Pilates instructor training in early 2024.


Amber is committed to spreading the joy of Pilates to others who seek empowerment and representation in the fitness community. With a heart full of enthusiasm, she is dedicated to guiding her clients on a journey to unlock their full potential, both physically and mentally, through the transformative power of Pilates.

JILL

Certified Pilates Instructor

Jill started her Pilates journey in 2004, when she took her first Pilates class. She fell in love with Pilates and has continued to consistently practice for the past 20 years. Jill is also an avid bicyclist and finds that cycling and Pilates are a perfect combination of cardio through cycling and strength training and flexibility through Pilates. 

 

After many years as a corporate executive, she decided to leave the corporate environment to become a Pilates instructor. Jill finds teaching to be extremely rewarding. She loves to share her passion for Pilates by teaching.

TOM

Guest Instructor

Tom discovered pilates after years of dealing with chronic low back pain, and it changed his life. After doing pilates for the last 5 years, Tom combined his passion for pilates and his passion for teaching, and recently became a certified pilates instructor through Function Pilates, with classmate Heather Clark. He teaches private classes at his home studio in east Mesa and small group classes at Core Body Pilates in south Gilbert. His favorite thing about teaching (whether it’s pilates or electromechanical technology) is making a positive impact in other’s lives, “I love helping people learn or accomplish something they couldn’t do before”. Tom is a military veteran, mechanical engineer, adjunct professor, and has played in several local bands in the valley, including a Motley Crue tribute band. He enjoys playing basketball with his son, playing frisbee golf, and writing/recording music.
